Our Praising

God is very interested in music; it is mentioned over 500 times in the Bible. Music is a vital part in worshipping God. It “sets the table” in preparing to feed the soul for the preaching of God’s Word, “the manna and meat from heaven.” Because of this function of music in our services, the singing should be Bible-centered, Spirit-anointed, and Christ-honoring.

In our congregational music, we sing from the old hymns that have been time proven and have remained pure in its message uplifting to the soul. Also our choir and other special music are songs that lift up the name of Christ.

We do not believe in the contemporary style of music, which consists of “rock and rap” music beat to Christian Lyrics. We believe Christian music should be distinct and separate from secular music and should not resemble as such.
